Hey Braddy Bunchers!

We thought this was a funny paparazzi shot that was grabbed of Ricky!

He is busy here in Nashville…doing what he can while being tied to his contract, but he loves/ is obsessed with twitter. We got emailed by a magazine and asked us where Ricky got his shirt so we had to do some digging to find it (www.tweetthatstuff.com), but within that, they sent us the picture they took.  I guess Ricky is one of the only ones out there who is twittering from the idol bunch.  He loves talking to people on it and see what they have to say. So make sure and follow him @rickybraddy. We hope everyone is doing great! Hope to talk to more when Ricky can let out what is all going on in his life after idol! Thanks again for all your support while he was in it!

Yes, your vision serves you right: TheBraddyBunch.com is Back!

You’re probably thinking, “Wow, this is strange!” Well, you’re not alone. “Team Braddy” was equally confused. A phone call was received from an American Idol attorney over the weekend and it was determined that the site can make its debut….again!

If you’re thinking The Braddy Bunch has pulled a fast one on you, you’re wrong!

The email sent to The Braddy Bunch demanding the cease and desist order was accompanied by multiple phone conversations with an A.I. attorney. After attempting to stand their ground in defending their actions and innocence, it became clear, after Ricky’s removal from the competition was threatened, that the site needed to be shut down. It was a sad day when the site went down, but The Braddy Bunch kept the Braddy momentum moving.

Temporarily, The Braddy Bunch bandwagon shifted to the MissingSquare.com!

We appreciate all of Ricky’s fans who have stood behind him and The Braddy Bunch by visiting this site and commenting.

Ricky Braddy has jumped from an unranked position to the #8 spot on Entertainment Weekly’s ‘American Idol’ Power List!

“8. Ricky Braddy: (Last week: Unranked) What’s that? The handsome soul singer (pictured, right) didn’t survive the Group 1 viewer vote despite his terrific “A Song for You”? That’s okay; we’re confident Paula will do the right thing and give a Wild Card performance slot to the one male contestant who scored no singing screentime before the top 36.” - Michael Slezak, Entertainment Weekly

My biggest hope is that the powers that be (*cough*cough*American Idol Hierarchy*cough*) will take note of the immense amount of praise and support that Ricky Braddy has attained after ONE single performance! American Idol… hear me out: This.Is.Rare! I hope that A.I. has something up their sleeve. If not, why would they put someone so talented in their Top 36 without giving him/her the opportunity to showcase it and thus bring them (A.I.) the positive attention it needs!

Today, an article was posted at BuddyTV.com about the attention Ricky Braddy is getting in regard to his WildCard chances.  It appears to me that people are taking notice of us Braddy Bunchers!  We, the people of Ricky, in order to form a more perfect fanbase… must continue to make our thoughts and feelings known about our talented, but dark horse… Ricky Braddy!

The Daily Advance, Ricky’s hometown newspaper, published an article that speculated the future of a WildCard for Braddy.  The article quoted the American Idol P.R. department saying, Ricky was still “in contest” and therefore denied The Daily Advance’s requests for an official interview with Ricky.

Hope for a WildCard is still abundant for all of us Braddy fans, but the fact of whether or not Ricky has or will receive one is not public knowledge - just mere speculation.  So, it looks like we’ll have to sit on the edge of our seats until we are all informed of Ricky’s A.I. fate.

Oh, the joys of the spotlight!

I’m sure many of you have put yourself in this scenario before, right?  You know, the one where you start to wonder “If I ever become famous, what kind of dirty laundry would surface about me!?!”

Well… it looks like someone in Elizabeth City, North Carolina has decided to put Ricky’s best interest in their own hands by putting a video of him singing in church at the young age of 8 years old on the world wide web.

While this laundry may not be dirty, it’s laundry nonetheless!

I don’t think this does anything to hurt the hard-earned favor of American Idol fans for Ricky, but I do think that this video of  Lil Ricky does nothing to showcase his talent.  Yes, I realize that he is singing a difficult song (Gospel song, Via Dolorosa, made famous by Sandi Patty) at a very young age, but I think it’s safe to assume that Ricky had and still has MUCH talent judging by his performance on American Idol last Tuesday night - without the use of random home videos.

So, in my opinion… it might be best to leave Ricky’s laundry (dirty or clean) in the hands of Ricky, his family, or people with P.R. experience.

Sorry if I come across a bit harsh, but realistically speaking… what GOOD does this really do?

I’ll leave you, anonymous home-video uploader, with a positive ending:  You get an “A” for effort!

Jason Yeager, Season 7 Contestant on American Idol, started a Vlog (Video Blog) on YouTube as a means to provide his insight, critiques, and suggestions about Season 8’s competition.

Having been there and done that, his Vlog offers a unique perspective of American Idol.

It was no surprise to see he is a fan of Ricky.  Check out his video below:

Paula Abdul has, yet again, named Ricky as one of her favorite contestants in an interview conducted by Reality TV Magazine after his dismissal from Season 8 of American Idol.

“I can tell you that the guys have some standouts. That kid Danny Gokey is one of my favorites. Adam Lambert is pretty darn amazing. So are the guys who play the dueling pianos (Matt Giraud and Ricky Braddy). And Scott‚ the blind kid, is fantastic.” 

While Braddy fans are flattered by this repeated claim… we’re left scratching our heads on the “dueling pianos” comment.  Rumor on the street is that Ricky has a limited piano background from his Belmont University education.  Nothing is known about any “dueling piano” capabilities.

Hmm…

Was this an accident on Paula’s behalf?  

Furthermore,  does this statement seem odd to you - being that it was said after Ricky was prematurely kicked off of American Idol, Season 8?
